Ervin Overbee: There are really something wrong with the rules on F1.Again, Schumacher overtook alonso for 1 place on Monaco during a safety car and he was penalized 20 seconds for that.Lewis Hamilton overtook a safety car and only take 5 second penalty??? He also used most of his fuel on the Turkey qualifying and was slapped for a measly 10,000 dollar penalty.Alonso said it right "F1 is business not a sport"It only makes sense that they "FIA" will support F1 as most of the audience and officials are British. Their blatant disregard for other big guns like Germans, Spaniards and Italians are way too obvious. They impose strict penalty for non British drivers.Their time will come....Show more
Providencia Serpe: No, they got lucky. A drive-through may be devastating but sometimes, like last Sunday, you have enough gap to the car behind you that you don't miss any position when taking the penalty. Next time may be Ferrari's time to happen to be on the right side of luc! k.With that said, I agree it would have been nice to see Alonso at the podium, but then I hope for many of the other drivers too....Show more
Clemente Schoeck: .I agree completely with "mbl" above....."F1 could learn something from Nascar when it comes to caution periods" - F1 should have as many caution periods as NASCAR (Blancmange). Why? Well, 1) the bottle incident would have seen a 30 lap caution, thereby making F1 much safer, and 2) LH will be allowed to win another championship without having to race so much....Show more
Moira Woodrow: extremely? human beings vandalize vehicles of atheists? i'm a Christian, and that i might desire to say sorry for my fellow believers who certainly do no longer comprehend how they arrive off to others. Jesus is a loving God who loves despite in case you have a darwin fish. no one has the wonderful to take your unfastened will away. God gave that to us to apply how we'd like. lower back, i'm sorry. Oh - and that i don't hav! e non secular bumper stickers - they are cheesy. Jesus is my K! ing, no longer a catchy slogan....Show more
Freddy Shutler: Its motorsport, these things happen. Sometimes its a good thing for Fernando and Ferrari such as the Bahrain Grand Prix, if Vettel did not have that spark plug problem then Fernando might not have won that grand prix.
Vern Serratos: The safety car always throws the result in the air.It is down to luck how well or badly you are affected.I am sure that over the years Ferrari have gained as many times as they have lost. Alonso was understandably frustrated but you will note that he has apoligised today for his outburst. The safety car rules need fundamental change - they keep tinkering with the rules but only serve to introduce even more anomalies.Enslaver - get your facts right - Hamilton got a drive through not a 5 second penalty. The cost of the drive through was around 20 secs but he had a 26second lead over 3rd at the time so didn't lose position. Schumacher got the 20 sec in Monaco because there wa! s no time for him to serve the drive through....Show more
Particia Thorton: I can't believe that they have not got a penilty yet. Maybe they might get a five place grid drop at the next GP.
Romana Stiman: I agree. It's very frustrating. But these things have a way of evening out over time. The safety car rules are ridiculous. F1 could learn something from Nascar when it comes to caution periods.I'm sensing some smart azz in the guy below me maybe. I love that F1 doesn't throw a full course caution every ten seconds a la Nascar. I just think that there is too much luck involved in F1 when the safety car comes out. When a caution does come out, it is handled better in Nascar....Show more
Lyman Gauld: that is right, but also, why didn't the ferrari's jumped into the pit before that?
Nannie Kasee: I admit that Lewis Hamilton did break the rules but Ferrari don't have to keep complaining just because McLaren got more points in that race than they d! id.
