Chastity Doderer: It makes sense to put the fault on car B for rear ending car A. That's who I think should be at fault.However, I think it would technically be car A's fault. It is illegal to not be in control of your car. Since the engine in car A stalled, it would be classified as not being in a state of control, and therefore car A would be at fault. Even though it doesn't make sense.I am basing this on a friend who got a ticket for coasting his truck and revving the engine a couple of times in town.
