Dick Maisenbacher: Don't become a dental hygienist! First of all you CANNOT take dental hygiene courses online. It does not exist in the USA. You must be enrolled full time in an actual college that you have to attend in person classes Mon to Friday.Second, there are NO jobs for hygienists right now. Any job opening is PART TIME. Full time doesn't really exist, especially for new grads. Most dentists will not give you any benefits, not even health insurance.Become a RN instead, trust me....Show more
