When should I fulfill my Visual/Performing Arts UC/CSU requirement in high school, junior year or senior year?

Serena Doak: hard problem. lookup onto yahoo and bing. just that may help!

Cliff Tyre: My son did his f) art in his freshman year, as do many other students. At my son's school, if they can't do the year of art in their freshman year due to scheduling conflicts, many take it during the summer before sophomore year, especially if they are athletes (seems to cause a lot of conflicts as our arts classes are often last period). In part it would depend how ambitious your schedule is, my son attends a very rigorous private school, so they want to leave open later years for APs and Honors classes. My son took an art every year and it took some juggling with his schedule because he had all the AP's possible. For the a - g classes, maybe this is what you are thinking of -- To be considered for admission, you must complete 15 yearlong high school courses with a grade of C or better â€" at least 11 of them prior to your senior year.
